Meet the Person Behind DataRich Consulting

Richann Watson is a statistical programmer, a CDISC ADaM consultant and an instructor.  She has over 20 years of SAS experience on clinical trials including data set specification development, data set creation and verification, tables/listings/figures generation and verification.  Her experience as a CDISC ADaM consultant includes development of data set specification and preparation of metadata that comply with CDISC standards through the development of the Reviewer’s Guide for regulatory submission.

Richann is an active participant and leader in the SAS User Group community.  She has presented numerous papers, posters, and training seminars at SAS Global Forum, PharmaSUG, and various regional and local SAS user group meetings.  She was the president for  a local SAS User Group in the Cincinnati area (CinSUG) from 2013 to 2019.  In addition, she was an executive committee member for SouthEast SAS Users Group (SESUG) from 2019 to 2022.  She is currently  on the Executive Board for PharmaSUG and for Western Users of SAS Software (WUSS).  Among her many volunteer roles, she has served as Academic Chair for the MidWest SAS Users Group conference in 2016, Academic Chair for PharmaSUG in 2019, Academic Chair for SESUG in 2020 and Operations Chair for WUSS in 2022.

Richann has co-authored a book on clinical graphics and is currently working on a book with several colleagues for clinical reporting.

Richann is an authorized instructor for ADaM training that is offered through CDISC.  In addition, she is an active member on the CDISC ADaM team and participates on various other CDISC ADaM sub-teams.

Richann also provides training on SAS and as well as her own ADaM courses at conferences as well as virtually.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, curling up with a good book and doing a variety of crafts.
